Treatment of Campylobacter in Caged Birds
Erythromycin is effective against
Camplylobacter in Gouldians and
Society Finches. Not safe to use
on chicks younger than 6 months
Mix Instructions: Use 1/4 teaspoon per 1liter/quart of water (or 1/8 teaspoon into 2 quarts/500ml). Treat for 10 days and mix fresh daily
Note: Medication should not be given while chicks are being fed. It will cause adverse effects to the chicks. Treatment of the Society Finches is best done while they are incubating the eggs, or prior to receiving the hatched Gouldian chicks for fostering. Mix Fresh Daily.
