|
airsac mite
Dr. Marshall's new S76 treatment is so safe it can be administered to breeding parents feeding their babies!

S76 is the first choice medicine for treating airsac mites in the water. I have been asked so many times "is there anything available for treating air sac mites in the water? I have 300 birds and it is so hard to catch them!"
Dr. Rob Marshall the author of "Gouldians & Finch HEALTH" has introduced a new product, S76 for the treatment of airsac mites in the water.

" ...I am writing to tell you how thrilled I am with the results of your product: S76. I had nine Lady Gouldian finches that were infected with air sac mites and I watched helpless, for several days as their health deteriorated. I came across your website while surfing the web one day and decided to try out the S76 which immediately improved the health of my birds. Now I can say, with confidence, that they will survive. Thanks again and I will be sure to try other products of yours in the near future!"

Treatment of Airsac Mite Outbreak
Flock Treatment S76 should be administered to the entire flock for two consecutive days. This treatment must be repeated each week for three weeks to break the life cycle of the airsac mite.
Individual Bird Treatment Individual birds with symptoms of airsac mites should be removed to the hospital cage for treatment. One drop of S76 should be applied to the skin of the neck each day for 5 days. S76 should also be administered to the drinking water for three consecutive days followed by Amoxitex for two days to help with secondary lung infections. Dr. Marshall recommends feeding soft food enriched with Turbobooster, E-powder and NV powder should be provided in the water to help accelerate recovery. However your normal softfood receipe enriched with vitamins and minerals will also be beneficial to your recovering bird.
Lustrous clean feathers This should be followed up several days later with a KD Water Cleanser bath. This second bath will remove all the dead mites and help promote lustrous clean feathering.

"...just 24 hours since I added the S76 to their water. I am AMAZED at his recovery. He is full of energy, going to and fro adding nesting material, fending off other birds, and looking great. Can this be?"

"..just to say how amazing is this S76 stuff?? My birds were lethargic fat and lazy, but after 2 days dose as recomended, they are all as lively as crickets. I will certainly shout this product from the roof tops to anyone who will listen. I can't believe it's the same birds, and can I say how impressed I was at the speed of delivery, considering it's international mail. Once again thanks from me and my birds."

"... I just wanted to get back to you and thank you from the bottom of my heart. When I ordered the medication for my finch who had air sac mites, I really needed a miracle. I had already tried other medications I had purchased locally but she continued to cough and cough.
But after visiting your website, I figured...what do I have to lose. After the mail delivered the S76 on a Wednesday we applied it right away to both finch. For two more days she continued coughing. On the third day she stopped coughing and stopped breathing through her mouth and started flying laps around the cage.
We have continued the medication like the directions on the bottle. Both birds are very active and I am sure it is all due to the medication from your website. Thank you for your caring personality. Your website will now be my first stop for finch health supplies."

Question:
"....when I contacted All Bird Products, Inc looking for S76 I was told that
Ivermectin in the drinking water will kill birds because there is no way of giving an exact dose, especially during the Summer when birds will drink more water and the drinking water in a bowl will evaporate so the concentration gets higher. I have been using your S76 for 2 years now. My birds are outside in temps of 90-105 degrees, and inside at around 85 degrees, I have never had a problem."
Answer:
"..Finches drink a remarkably constant amount of water irrespective of temperature. Therefore S76 is completely safe at my recommended doses. There can be problems with injectable Ivermenctin in birds"
Dr. Rob Marshall
Question:
"..there is a new product on the market called Iverlux that is said to be exactly the same as your S76?"
Answer:
"..my S76 must be a good product if other people want to copy it. They will have trouble duplicating S76 effects as I have added other helpful ingredients that help stimulate health in birds."
Dr. Rob Marshall
Question:
"..my thought is that the Ivermectin (S76) in the drinking water is better because it will only affect the birds internal organs for 2 days each week initially, Whereas the Scatt (Moxitectin) remains in the birds blood stream for 3 weeks and affects the birds internal organs that entire time. Is this correct thinking, or not even relevant?"
Answer:
"..S76 in my opinion is a much safer product and Moxidectin is far less safe."
Dr. Rob Marshall
Question:
"..the Ivermectin available in the US for treating airsac mites is oil based and does not mix with water. Why does your S76 (Ivermectin) mix in water when the American version won't?"
Answer:
"..My version is water soluble whereas the version in America is an oil based injection form and therefore is not soluble in water and not effective when given in the drinking water."
Dr. Rob Marshall
Question:
"...what does the S76 stands for? Why did you choose that name?"
Answer:
"..S76 stands for the strain of fungus that was discovered in the soil of a Japanese golf course. This fungus was used to produce Ivermectin."
Question:
"...how do I treat my bird for the airsac mite?"
Answer:
"..Birds with symptoms of an airsac mite infestation S76 should be added to the drinking water for 2 consecutive days, 3 weeks in a row to break the life cycle of the mite"
"...Individual birds with severe symptoms should be treated with a drop applied to the neck each day for five days plus S76 in the drinking water for three consecutive days, followed by Amtyl for two days when there is a wet clicking symptom"
Dr. Rob Marshall
Question:
"...How often should I treat my birds with the S76 if they are housed outdoors and/ or eat live food?"
Answer:
"..During the Spring/Summer/Fall (molting/breeding season) it should be added to the water for 1 day every 3 (to four) weeks"
"...During the Winter months (non-breeding or resting season) it should be added to the water for 1 day each month (to two months)"
Dr. Rob Marshall
Question:
"...it seems to me that this is way over board for birds that are kept in a home and does not have contact with the outdoors or live food. “
Answer:
"..S76 is truly a fantastic product because it has several properties other than as a mitecide. MITES DO LIVE IN DORMANCY IN THE AIRWAYS IN CERTAIN BIRDS. These immature forms become active when the bird is ill or during hot weather. Suddenly the problem appears and then spreads throughout the flock. The function of S76 is as a health stimulant as well as to kill mites. It always has such a positive effect on birds. Part of this effect is in the back of the throat where it has a bactericidal effect, so it works to kill any unwanted bacteria"
